About the Role

As Chef de Cuisine, you will oversee all kitchen operations within your assigned restaurant or culinary outlet. You will be responsible for menu development, food quality, team leadership, cost control, and maintaining the highest standards of culinary excellence. This role requires a creative and hands-on leader who can inspire a team while delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Design, develop, and update menus that align with the restaurant’s concept and guest expectations.
  • Maintain exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Supervise, train, mentor, and develop kitchen team members.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Manage inventory, purchasing, and food cost control measures.
  • Collaborate with restaurant management to enhance guest satisfaction and dining experiences.
  • Monitor kitchen performance and implement continuous improvements.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout kitchen operations.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared according to established recipes and brand standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine, Executive Sous Chef, or similar leadership role within luxury hotels or fine dining establishments.
  • Culinary degree, diploma, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of international cuisine, culinary techniques, and kitchen management.
  • Excellent leadership and team development skills.
  • Strong understanding of food cost control, inventory management, and budgeting.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Passion for culinary excellence and innovation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in luxury hospitality or Michelin-recognized dining environments.
  • Strong menu development and culinary creativity.
  • Experience managing multicultural kitchen teams.
  • Ability to maintain exceptional guest satisfaction standards.
