Job Summary
As a Runner, you will play a vital role in supporting the service team by delivering food and beverages promptly, maintaining smooth communication between the kitchen and front-of-house staff, and ensuring guests receive an exceptional dining experience. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment and enjoy working as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen and bar to guests accurately and efficiently.
- Assist waiters and supervisors in ensuring smooth restaurant operations.
- Verify orders before delivery to ensure accuracy and presentation standards.
- Maintain clear communication between kitchen staff and service teams.
- Support table setup, clearing, and resetting activities.
- Ensure dining areas remain clean, organized, and guest-ready.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness standards throughout the restaurant.
- Respond promptly to team requests during service periods.
- Follow company policies, operational procedures, and health and safety regulations.
- Contribute to delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, café, or hospitality environment is an advantage.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
