CO Chocolat, the popular chocolate café concept, is hiring for its Al Zeina branch in Abu Dhabi. The café is currently looking to fill two positions: a Barista to craft quality coffee and beverages, and a Waiter to deliver warm, attentive table service. Barista — Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, chocolate beverages, and specialty drinks to a consistently high standard
• Operate and maintain espresso machines and other café equipment
• Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive counter service
• Maintain a clean and organized coffee and beverage station at all times
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system
• Monitor and restock supplies including coffee, milk, chocolate, and syrups
• Follow all hygiene and food safety guidelines consistently
• Suggest and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience

Waiter — Key Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, presenting menus and answering questions about dishes and drinks
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high presentation standards
• Check in with guests throughout their visit to ensure satisfaction
• Process bills and handle payments accurately
• Clear and reset tables promptly between guests
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
• Support colleagues during busy periods to ensure smooth, efficient service

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Barista or Waiter/Waitress within a café, restaurant, or hotel preferred
• Friendly, energetic, and guest-focused personality
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage
• Well-groomed, professional appearance
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment
• Willingness to work rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Basic food and beverage hygiene knowledge
• Valid UAE residence visa or ability to transfer visa preferred
