About the Role
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of classic and signature cocktails, maintaining bar cleanliness and stock levels, and engaging with guests to create an upbeat, welcoming atmosphere. As a Waiter, you will be the face of guest service on the floor — taking orders accurately, delivering food and beverages promptly, and ensuring every table receives attentive, friendly service throughout the night.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve drinks accurately and efficiently, following standard recipes and presentation guidelines
- Take food and beverage orders and relay them correctly to the kitchen and bar teams
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar or service station at all times
- Engage guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly and comply with UAE alcohol service regulations
- Work closely with the floor manager and kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including stock counts and cleaning checklists
- Uphold Gatsby’s grooming and presentation standards at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Bartender or Waiter in a nightclub, bar, or high-volume F&B outlet in the UAE preferred
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails and mixology basics (for Bartender role)
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage
- Ability to stay composed and efficient during busy, high-pressure shifts
- Well-groomed, confident, and guest-focused personality
- Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Valid UAE work permit or ability to be sponsored by the employer
