Larope Restaurant is on the hunt for a Junior Barista who’s passionate about coffee, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and genuinely enjoys creating a great start to a guest’s day. Larope Restaurant is known for its warm, welcoming atmosphere and a menu that pairs quality food with a strong coffee program. As Junior Barista, you’ll be part of the front-of-house team responsible for setting the tone of every guest’s visit — one cup at a time.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing and serving coffee and beverages according to Larope’s recipe and presentation standards
- Operating and maintaining espresso machines and other coffee equipment
- Supporting senior baristas during busy morning and peak service hours
- Keeping the coffee station clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Greeting guests warmly and ensuring a friendly, efficient service experience
- Following food safety and hygiene protocols at all times
- Assisting with stock checks, restocking, and basic inventory tasks
- Learning new brewing methods, latte art techniques, and menu items over time
What We’re Looking For
- Previous barista or F&B experience is a plus, but enthusiasm and willingness to learn matter just as much
- Genuine interest in coffee culture and a desire to develop barista skills
- Friendly, guest-focused attitude with clear communication skills
- Ability to stay organized and efficient during busy rush periods
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays
