We Play Arcade, one of Dubai’s popular entertainment and gaming venues, is currently hiring an energetic and customer-focused Barista to join its café counter team. What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be responsible for preparing coffee and beverage orders — including espresso-based drinks, milkshakes, and other café favorites — quickly and consistently, even during busy peak hours when the arcade floor is at its liveliest. You’ll operate and maintain espresso machines and other beverage equipment, keeping everything clean and functioning properly throughout your shift.

Taking orders, processing payments through the POS system, and managing the counter queue efficiently will be a regular part of your day, especially during weekends, school holidays, and private party bookings when the venue gets particularly busy. You’ll also be expected to keep your station well-stocked, clean, and organized, and to communicate clearly with kitchen and floor staff to keep service moving smoothly.

Because We Play Arcade is an entertainment-first venue, you’ll also need to maintain a friendly, high-energy presence at the counter, engaging naturally with families and groups, and staying upbeat even during long or hectic shifts.

What We’re Looking For

Previous barista experience is preferred, ideally in a café, restaurant, or high-volume entertainment venue, though candidates with strong customer service backgrounds and a willingness to learn coffee-making skills quickly will also be considered. Good spoken English is required, and additional languages are a plus given the venue’s diverse, family-oriented customer base.

You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy environment, standing for long periods, and staying patient and upbeat even when the counter is busy. Basic POS and cash-handling skills are helpful, and a naturally friendly, energetic personality will go a long way in this particular setting, since guest experience here is closely tied to atmosphere and staff energy.

Flexibility with shift timing is important, since weekends, evenings, and holidays tend to be the busiest periods at an entertainment venue like this. Reliability and a team-oriented attitude are valued highly, as the café counter works closely alongside the broader arcade and events team.
