Society Café in Abu Dhabi is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Barista to join its front-of-house team. As a Barista at Society Café, you’ll be responsible for crafting quality beverages while creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve espresso-based beverages, specialty drinks, and other menu items to consistent quality and presentation standards.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment safely and maintain them according to cleaning schedules.
• Deliver friendly, attentive customer service, taking orders accurately and offering thoughtful menu recommendations.
• Manage the point-of-sale system, processing cash and card payments with accuracy.
• Keep the bar station, counters, and seating areas clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times.
• Track stock levels of coffee, dairy, syrups, and packaging, escalating replenishment needs to the manager.
• Follow all UAE food safety, hygiene, and allergen-handling regulations diligently.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house colleagues to ensure smooth, efficient service.

What We’re Looking For

• Prior experience as a Barista or in a similar café/F&B customer service role is preferred.
• Strong grasp of espresso preparation, milk texturing, and ideally latte art techniques.
• Outgoing, guest-focused personality with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to remain efficient, accurate, and calm during busy periods and rush hours.
• Good spoken English; additional languages are an advantage given Abu Dhabi’s diverse clientele.
• Flexibility to work rotational shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• A genuine passion for coffee culture and delivering excellent guest experiences.
