Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold coffee beverages to consistent quality and presentation standards
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other barista equipment safely and efficiently
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and recommend menu items when appropriate
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the coffee station and service area at all times
- Manage stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and related supplies, informing supervisors of shortages
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Follow all food safety, health, and hygiene regulations required by the hotel and UAE authorities
- Support colleagues during peak hours to ensure smooth and timely guest service
- Build rapport with regular guests to enhance their overall experience and encourage repeat visits
- Assist with basic inventory checks and end-of-shift reporting as required by the outlet manager
Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar F&B guest-service role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, including espresso-based drinks and latte art is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
- A friendly, guest-first attitude with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Basic food safety awareness; formal certification is a bonus
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support colleagues across the outlet
- Valid UAE residence status or eligibility to work in the UAE preferred
