Two roles, one seamless guest experience

Gulf Hotels Group is hiring a hands-on Cashier & Barista to join its Food & Beverage outlet team. This dual role suits someone who’s equally comfortable behind the till and behind the espresso machine — accurate with numbers, quick with orders, and always composed under pressure.

You’ll be a key part of the daily guest experience, handling transactions with precision while crafting quality beverages that keep guests coming back. It’s a fast-paced, people-facing role at the heart of the outlet’s daily rhythm.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately process cash, card, and digital payments at the point of sale
• Prepare coffee, tea, and specialty beverages to outlet recipe and quality standards
• Reconcile the till at the start and end of each shift, reporting discrepancies immediately
• Take and confirm guest orders clearly, both in person and at the counter
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier counter and barista station
• Manage stock of beverage ingredients, cups, and consumables, flagging shortages early
• Upsell menu items and promotions in a natural, guest-friendly manner
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and cash-handling procedures at all times

Requirements & Skills

• Prior experience as a cashier, barista, or in F&B service strongly preferred
• Comfortable handling POS systems and daily cash reconciliation
• Good barista fundamentals — espresso-based drinks, milk texturing, and consistency
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Clear communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
• Ability to stay composed and efficient during peak service hours
• Flexible with shift patterns, including weekends and holidays
