What You’ll Do

• Clean and service guest rooms, suites, and chalets to Kempinski’s five-star standards, including bed-making, dusting, bathroom sanitisation, and restocking amenities.
• Follow a structured room checklist and daily assignment sheet to ensure every room is turned around within the required time.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to the relevant department promptly.
• Handle guest laundry requests, linen changes, and replenishment of minibar and in-room amenities.
• Respect guest privacy and belongings at all times, following the hotel’s lost-and-found procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping trolleys, storage areas, and equipment in clean, organised, working condition.
• Coordinate with the front office and floor supervisors on room status updates (vacant, occupied, dirty, clean, inspected).
• Uphold all health, safety, and hygiene protocols, including correct handling of cleaning chemicals.

What You’ll Need

• Prior experience as a room attendant or housekeeping assistant, ideally in a hotel environment; freshers with strong attention to detail may also be considered.
• Physical stamina for a role that involves standing, bending, lifting, and moving between floors throughout the shift.
• A sharp eye for detail and consistency — five-star standards leave no room for shortcuts.
• Basic spoken English for communicating with supervisors and, occasionally, guests.
• A trustworthy, discreet, and respectful approach to working inside guests’ private spaces.
• Ability to work rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as is standard in five-star hotel operations.
• A team-first attitude — housekeeping runs on coordination between attendants, supervisors, and floor teams.
