As a Barista at Beanova, you’ll be at the heart of the customer experience — the first smile guests see and the hands behind the drinks that keep them coming back. The cafe values consistency, precision, and warmth in equal measure, and is looking for someone who can bring all three to the counter every single shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a full range of espresso-based drinks, filter coffee, and specialty beverages to a consistent standard.
• Operate, clean, and maintain espresso machines and grinders in line with hygiene and safety standards.
• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and handle cash and card transactions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked service counter throughout each shift.
• Manage milk texturing and latte art to Beanova’s presentation standards.
• Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and disposables, flagging shortages to the shift supervisor.
• Support light food preparation and pastry display where required.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista, preferably in a specialty coffee cafe.
• Solid understanding of espresso extraction, milk steaming, and basic latte art.
• Friendly, customer-first attitude with strong communication skills in English.
• Ability to stay composed and efficient during busy morning and afternoon rushes.
• Good personal hygiene and grooming standards suited to a customer-facing role.
• Availability to work shifts, including weekends where needed.
