Key Responsibilities

• Assist chefs de partie in the daily preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to standard recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned kitchen section at all times.
• Follow HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards consistently throughout all preparation and service periods.
• Support proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients to minimize waste.
• Assist with mise en place ahead of service to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
• Follow instructions from senior chefs and contribute to a positive, disciplined kitchen culture.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions to build technical skills and product knowledge.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of kitchen experience, ideally within a hotel or high-volume restaurant setting.
• Formal culinary training or certification is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow within a structured brigade system.
• Ability to work under pressure during high-volume service periods.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays as per hotel operational needs.
