The F&B team is now looking to welcome a Waiter/Waitress who shares that same standard of excellence.

Role Overview

As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be the face of the dining experience — guiding guests through the menu, coordinating with the kitchen, and ensuring every course is delivered with polish and precision. This role suits candidates with prior fine-dining or upscale restaurant experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests warmly, presenting menus and offering recommendations with confidence
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them clearly to the kitchen and bar teams
  • Serve food and drinks following Waldorf Astoria’s silver service and presentation standards
  • Anticipate guest needs throughout the meal, from refilling water to clearing courses at the right pace
  • Handle guest questions, special dietary requests, and minor complaints with professionalism
  • Set up and reset tables to brand specification before and after service
  • Process payments accurately and thank guests warmly as they depart
  • Maintain full knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings
  • Support colleagues during peak service periods and private dining events

Requirements

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a 4- or 5-star hotel or fine-dining restaurant
  • Excellent spoken English; additional languages are a strong advantage
  • Well-presented, polished, and guest-focused with a warm, professional manner
  • Strong product knowledge or willingness to learn menu and beverage details in depth
  • Ability to remain calm and organized during high-volume service periods
  • Flexible with rotational shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Valid UAE visa status or eligibility for employer sponsorship
