McCafferty’s Irish Bar & Restaurant in Al Furjan is expanding its team and currently hiring for four key roles: Receiver, Restaurant Manager, Barback, and Waiter. 1. Restaurant Manager

We’re seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, lead the floor team, and ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing front-of-house operations and staff scheduling
• Managing guest relations and resolving complaints professionally
• Monitoring stock, ordering supplies, and controlling costs
• Training, motivating, and supervising service staff
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
• Working closely with the kitchen team to maintain service flow

Requirements: Minimum 3 years’ restaurant/bar management experience, preferably in a pub or casual dining concept. Strong leadership, financial awareness, and UAE experience preferred.

2. Receiver

The Receiver plays a key role in inventory and supply chain accuracy for the restaurant.

Responsibilities include:

• Receiving and inspecting deliveries against purchase orders
• Checking quality, quantity, and expiry dates of incoming goods
• Proper storage and rotation of stock (FIFO method)
• Maintaining accurate receiving logs and documentation
• Coordinating with suppliers and kitchen/bar teams on discrepancies

Requirements: Prior experience in F&B receiving or storekeeping, attention to detail, and basic inventory software knowledge.

3. Barback

Barbacks are essential to keeping bar operations running smoothly during busy service.

Responsibilities include:

• Restocking bar supplies, ice, glassware, and garnishes
• Supporting bartenders during peak hours
• Maintaining cleanliness of the bar area
• Assisting with keg changes and beverage line maintenance
• Managing waste disposal and recycling

Requirements: Previous barback or F&B support experience preferred, physically fit, able to work fast-paced evening shifts.

4. Waiter

We’re looking for attentive, friendly Waiters to deliver excellent table service.

Responsibilities include:

• Taking orders accurately and serving food and beverages
• Providing menu knowledge and recommendations to guests
• Handling billing and payment processing
• Maintaining table cleanliness and turnover standards
• Upselling menu items where appropriate

Requirements: Minimum 1 year of waitering experience, preferably in a bar/pub setting, excellent English communication skills, well-presented and guest-focused.
