About the Role

As a Barista at Julith Cafe, you will be the face of our coffee program. You’ll prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, maintain the cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, and ensure every guest leaves with a smile. This role suits someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes genuine pride in their craft.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso-based drinks, filter coffee, and specialty beverages to consistent quality standards
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other barista equipment
• Take customer orders accurately and process payments through the POS system
• Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar, equipment, and surrounding work areas
• Manage stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and disposables, and inform management of shortages
• Follow all food safety and hygiene standards set by Dubai Municipality
• Greet and engage customers warmly, building repeat clientele through good service
• Assist with light food preparation and pastry display when needed
• Support opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and equipment shutdown
• Work collaboratively with the wider café team during busy periods

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of barista experience, preferably in a café or specialty coffee setting
• Solid understanding of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and latte art is a plus
• Friendly, energetic personality with strong communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene practices
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Team player attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
• Valid UAE visa status or ability to secure sponsorship (please specify in application)
