Poke Zone, a fresh and fast-growing healthy food and beverage concept in the UAE, is hiring a Barista to join its team. Known for its fresh poke bowls alongside a solid coffee and beverage menu, Poke Zone is looking for someone who can bring energy, consistency, and genuine hospitality to the counter every single shift.

Role Overview

As Barista at Poke Zone, you’ll be responsible for preparing and serving coffee and beverages to a consistent standard while contributing to the overall fast-casual, health-conscious brand experience. You’ll work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to keep service moving quickly without compromising on quality, and you’ll be a key part of the customer’s first impression of the store. This role suits someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in getting every cup right.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso-based drinks and specialty beverages to recipe standards
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and bar equipment
• Keep the beverage station clean, organized, and stocked throughout each shift
• Take and process orders accurately at the counter or POS system
• Maintain consistent drink quality, presentation, and speed of service
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and allergen-handling procedures at all times
• Support general store cleanliness and daily opening/closing duties
• Deliver friendly, efficient customer interactions that reflect the Poke Zone brand

What We’re Looking For

• Previous barista experience preferred; candidates with strong customer service backgrounds also considered
• Solid understanding of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and beverage consistency
• Ability to work quickly and stay organized during busy periods
• Friendly, energetic personality suited to a fast-casual, customer-facing brand
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage
• Willingness to work café/restaurant hours, including weekends and evenings
• Valid UAE work eligibility or transferable visa status
