About the Role
Ethos Rosa’s Thai is looking for a friendly, attentive, and reliable Waiter to join its front-of-house team. This role is central to ensuring guests enjoy a smooth, enjoyable dining experience from the moment they are seated to the moment they leave. The ideal candidate combines strong service skills with genuine warmth, product knowledge, and the ability to stay composed during busy service periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly, presenting menus and providing recommendations
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them clearly to the kitchen
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring correct presentation and order accuracy
- Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any needs
- Handle guest inquiries about menu items, ingredients, and dietary requirements
- Process bill payments accurately through the point-of-sale system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and service areas throughout service
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
- Assist with table setup and breakdown as part of opening and closing duties
- Handle guest complaints professionally, escalating to management when necessary
- Maintain a positive, professional attitude throughout busy service periods
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Waiter, ideally within a restaurant or Thai/Asian cuisine setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, guest-focused attitude
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service hours
- Good menu knowledge or willingness to learn Thai cuisine and ingredients
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage
- Physical stamina for standing and moving throughout extended shifts
- A neat, professional appearance in line with restaurant standards
- UAE restaurant experience is an advantage but not mandatory
