Role Overview
As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving Tim Hortons’ full range of hot and cold beverages, baked goods, and light food items to brand standard, while delivering fast, friendly, and accurate service at every guest interaction. You will work as part of a close-knit store team under the guidance of the Shift Supervisor and Store Manager, contributing directly to the store’s daily sales and customer satisfaction targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare coffee, specialty beverages, and bakery items following Tim Hortons’ recipes and quality standards
- Operate espresso machines, brewers, and other beverage equipment safely and efficiently
- Take customer orders accurately at the counter, drive-thru, or kiosk as assigned
- Deliver friendly, prompt, and attentive service during high-volume periods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service counter, equipment, and dining area
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system
- Restock ingredients, cups, and supplies throughout the shift
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP guidelines at all times
- Support team members and shift leaders to meet daily operational targets
Requirements
- Previous barista or F&B experience is an advantage but not mandatory; training is provided
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service instincts
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Good communication skills in English
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Physically able to stand for long periods and handle repetitive tasks
- Basic food safety awareness; food handler certification is a plus
- Valid UAE residence visa or eligibility to transfer sponsorship is preferred
