Sunny Wellness, a health-focused café and wellness concept, is looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Barista to join its growing team. This role fits candidates who enjoy a calmer, health-conscious environment compared to a typical high-volume hotel bar, and who take pride in making every cup — and every guest interaction — feel intentional.
Sunny Wellness caters to a health-conscious clientele that values quality ingredients, clean menus, and a welcoming atmosphere. As Barista, you’ll be a key part of the guest’s daily wellness ritual, whether that’s their morning matcha, a protein-packed smoothie, or a classic flat white.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare coffee, tea, matcha, and specialty wellness beverages according to Sunny Wellness recipes and standards.
- Blend smoothies and cold beverages accurately, following portion and ingredient guidelines.
- Deliver warm, personalized service to a regular base of health-focused guests and members.
- Keep the café station, equipment, and display areas clean and organized at all times.
- Handle POS transactions and manage the till accurately during each shift.
- Support inventory checks and communicate stock needs for coffee, produce, and packaging supplies.
- Stay informed on menu ingredients to answer guest questions about allergens, nutrition, and dietary options.
What Sunny Wellness Is Looking For
- Previous barista or café experience is preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Genuine interest in wellness, healthy living, and quality food and beverage service.
- Friendly, calm, and detail-oriented personality suited to a boutique café setting.
- Good spoken English; additional languages are a plus given the diverse UAE customer base.
- Comfortable working mornings, weekends, and occasional evening shifts.
- Basic food hygiene awareness; formal certification is an advantage.
