Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook shawarma, grilled meats, and pizzas to consistent quality and presentation standards.
• Marinate meats, prepare dough, and manage mise en place for all three stations efficiently.
• Operate shawarma spits, grills, and pizza ovens safely and effectively throughout service hours.
• Maintain strict food hygiene and safety standards in line with UAE municipality regulations.
• Monitor stock levels of meats, vegetables, dough, and toppings, coordinating replenishment with the store team.
• Ensure all food service counters are clean, organized, and fully stocked during operating hours.
• Interact professionally with customers at the counter, taking orders and addressing requests promptly.
• Work efficiently during high-traffic periods, including weekends and evenings, while maintaining food quality.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with shawarma, grill, and/or pizza preparation, ideally within a supermarket, restaurant, or fast-food setting.
• Strong knowledge of Middle Eastern and Italian-style fast food preparation techniques.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
• Ability to work quickly and consistently during busy periods without compromising quality.
• Basic English communication skills; Arabic and Hindi/Urdu are an advantage given the diverse customer base.
• Reliable, hardworking, and comfortable with standing for extended periods.
• UAE food handler’s certification is a plus, or willingness to obtain one.
