POSITION: WAITRESS
At Meraki Cafe, we believe that great service is at the heart of every memorable dining experience. As a Waitress, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests feel valued and well taken care of from the moment they walk in until they leave.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm, professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve orders promptly while maintaining high service standards
- Provide recommendations and answer guest questions about the menu
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and dining areas
- Handle guest requests and resolve minor issues professionally
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Process payments and handle billing accurately
- Follow all hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience as a Waitress in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, positive, and guest-focused attitude
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy periods
- Good command of English; additional languages are a plus
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Neat and presentable appearance in line with café standards
- Team player with a strong work ethic
