About the Role

As a Bartender, you will prepare and serve a wide range of classic and signature cocktails, manage bar stock, and maintain the highest standards of hygiene and presentation. You will interact directly with guests, take orders, recommend drinks based on preference, and contribute to the buzzing, social atmosphere that defines Fundamental Hospitality’s venues. The role requires speed, accuracy, and a genuine flair for hospitality during long and often high-pressure service periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare classic and signature cocktails to brand specification and consistent quality
• Take drink orders directly from guests and coordinate with servers on floor orders
• Maintain accurate stock levels, manage bar inventory, and report shortages to management
• Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and compliant with hygiene standards at all times
• Engage with guests, offer recommendations, and create a warm, memorable bar experience
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately through the POS system
• Support event nights, promotions, and themed evenings with tailored beverage service
• Work closely with the bar manager to develop new drink specials and seasonal menus
• Follow all licensing, responsible service, and safety regulations applicable in Dubai

Requirements

• Proven bartending experience in a busy bar, lounge, or restaurant (UAE experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, and beverage pairing
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and late-night shifts as required
• Well-presented, confident, and comfortable engaging with a diverse international clientele
• Strong multitasking skills and the ability to stay composed under pressure
