Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a full range of hot and cold beverages — espresso-based drinks, specialty coffee, teas, and blended drinks — to a consistent quality standard.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment, reporting faults promptly.
- Take orders accurately at the counter and via the POS system, handling cash and card payments.
- Keep the café counter, display cases, and seating area clean, stocked, and presentable throughout the shift.
- Upsell snacks, pastries, and beverage add-ons to increase average ticket size.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bowling-floor staff to ensure smooth, fast service during busy periods and events.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and stock-rotation procedures.
- Deliver friendly, energetic guest interactions that match the venue’s fun, social atmosphere.
Requirements
- Previous barista experience preferred, ideally in a café, entertainment venue, or F&B outlet.
- Solid knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and basic latte art is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with peak evening and weekend traffic.
- Good communication skills in English; Arabic or other languages are an advantage.
