Key Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso-based drinks, teas, cold beverages and specialty coffees to recipe standards.
• Steam milk correctly and create clean, attractive latte art where possible.
• Take orders politely, recommend drinks and answer guest questions about the menu.
• Operate and clean the espresso machine, grinder and other equipment daily.
• Maintain stock levels of beans, milk, syrups and cups, and report shortages.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and allergen guidelines at all times.
• Keep the coffee station tidy during service and after closing.
• Support colleagues in the outlet during peak hours.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a barista in a cafe, hotel or restaurant.
• Knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing and drink recipes.
• Barista training or certification is a plus but not always required.
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic or other languages are an advantage.
• A neat appearance and positive, guest-focused attitude.
• Ability to work quickly without losing quality.
• Flexibility to work morning, evening and weekend shifts.
