Media One Hotel, a stylish and vibrant property in the heart of Dubai Media City, is expanding its Food & Beverage team and is currently hiring energetic, guest-focused Waiters and Waitresses to join our restaurants, bars, and banquet operations. As part of our F&B service team, you will play a central role in delivering the warm, professional, and attentive service that Media One Hotel is known for — whether in our all-day dining restaurant, rooftop lounge, or private events and banquets. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly, presenting menus and providing accurate information on dishes, beverages, and daily specials
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, relaying them promptly to the kitchen and bar teams
- Serve food and drinks following proper service sequence and presentation standards
- Anticipate guest needs throughout the dining experience, from water refills to timely course clearing
- Set up and break down tables, ensuring cutlery, glassware, and linen meet hotel presentation standards
- Process guest bills accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system, handling payments and room charges correctly
- Support banquet and events service during conferences, weddings, and private functions as required
- Communicate effectively with kitchen, bar, and supervisory staff to ensure smooth, coordinated service
- Handle guest requests, dietary concerns, and minor complaints professionally, escalating to a supervisor when needed
- Maintain full compliance with hotel hygiene, grooming, and food safety standards at all times
- Actively upsell menu items, promotions, and specials where appropriate
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a waiter/waitress in a hotel, restaurant, or similar F&B environment; hotel experience is a strong advantage
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are highly valued given Media One’s international guest base
- Strong understanding of food and beverage service standards, table etiquette, and POS systems
- Friendly, well-presented, and able to remain composed and attentive during high-volume service periods
- Flexible to work rotational shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Valid UAE Food Safety / Basic Food Hygiene certification preferred, or willingness to obtain one
- Team-oriented attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Candidates currently based in the UAE with valid, transferable employment status will be given priority
