LPM Restaurant & Bar is one of Dubai’s most recognized French Mediterranean dining destinations, known for its refined atmosphere, seasonal menus, and exceptional guest experience. As part of our continued commitment to hospitality excellence, we are looking for a passionate and highly skilled Senior Barista to lead our coffee and beverage program and set the standard for quality in every cup we serve.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced coffee professional who takes pride in craftsmanship, consistency, and guest interaction. As Senior Barista, you will not only prepare beverages to the highest standard, but also mentor junior team members, maintain equipment and inventory, and help shape the beverage offering in line with LPM’s premium brand identity.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present a full range of espresso-based and specialty coffee beverages to LPM’s exacting quality standards
• Lead, train, and mentor junior baristas and service staff on brewing techniques, latte art, and beverage knowledge
• Maintain full ownership of coffee station cleanliness, organization, and workflow efficiency during service
• Calibrate and maintain espresso machines and grinders, ensuring consistent extraction quality throughout the day
• Manage stock levels for coffee, milk, syrups, and related supplies, coordinating timely reordering with the F&B team
• Engage warmly with guests, offering recommendations and building rapport that reflects LPM’s hospitality culture
• Monitor and uphold food safety and hygiene standards in line with Dubai Municipality regulations
• Support the beverage manager or F&B leadership in menu development, seasonal specials, and tasting sessions
• Handle guest feedback related to beverages professionally, escalating where necessary
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including equipment shutdown and cash handling where applicable

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a barista, with at least 1 year in a senior, lead, or trainer capacity
• Prior experience in a premium restaurant, hotel, or specialty coffee environment strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and latte art
• Familiarity with high-end espresso equipment (La Marzocco, Marzocco Linea, or similar preferred)
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage
• Well-groomed, guest-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Valid UAE Food Safety / Basic Food Hygiene certificate preferred, or willingness to obtain one
• Candidates already based in the UAE with a transferable visa or valid employment status will be prioritized
