About the Role
As a Sales Associate, you will be the first point of contact for customers browsing electronics, home appliances, mobile devices, and accessories. Your job is to understand customer needs, recommend suitable products, close sales confidently, and ensure every shopper leaves satisfied — whether they’re buying a new smartphone, a home entertainment system, or a small kitchen appliance. You’ll work on a busy retail floor alongside a team of product specialists and be supported by ongoing product training from Sharaf DG and its brand partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers on the showroom floor, identifying their needs and guiding purchase decisions
- Demonstrate product features and benefits across categories such as mobiles, laptops, TVs, and home appliances
- Achieve individual and team sales targets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, including promotions and installment plans
- Upsell and cross-sell accessories, warranties, and complementary products
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge through brand and internal training sessions
- Ensure shelves, displays, and product demo units are clean, stocked, and correctly priced
- Handle customer queries, exchanges, and after-sales support professionally
- Coordinate with the inventory team on stock availability and replenishment
- Follow all store policies related to loss prevention, safety, and customer service standards
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of retail sales experience, ideally in electronics, telecom, or a related category
- Strong interest in and working knowledge of consumer electronics and gadgets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; multilingual candidates are a strong advantage
- Target-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and working on a busy retail floor
- Flexible to work rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Basic computer literacy for POS and inventory systems
- Valid UAE employment visa or eligibility for company sponsorship
