Yasmina British Academy is hiring a certified Female Lifeguard to oversee student safety at its on-campus swimming facilities. This role is ideal for a responsible, alert, and safety-focused professional who wants to work within a structured educational environment rather than a commercial pool or resort setting.

- Monitor water quality and chemical levels, reporting issues to facilities management promptly
- Inspect pool equipment, safety gear, and rescue tools regularly to ensure everything is in working order
- Coordinate with PE teachers and swim instructors during lessons to maintain a safe learning environment
- Maintain accurate incident logs, attendance records, and safety inspection reports
- Assist in organizing swim galas, sports days, and other aquatic school events

- Current CPR and First Aid certification, kept up to date
- Previous lifeguarding experience, ideally within a school, nursery, or family-oriented facility
- Strong swimming ability and physical fitness to perform rescues confidently
- This position is specifically for a female candidate, in line with the school’s operational and safeguarding requirements
- Excellent attentiveness and the ability to stay focused for extended supervision periods
- Comfortable working with children of varying ages, from early years through secondary level
- Good spoken English; ability to communicate calmly and clearly with students and parents
- Police clearance certificate / clean background check, as required for education-sector roles in the UAE
What’s on Offer
- Competitive salary aligned with UAE private-school benefits packages
- School-term working pattern, often with holiday alignment to the academic calendar
- Stable, structured working environment compared to commercial hospitality or resort settings
- Health insurance and other standard UAE education-sector benefits
- The opportunity to play a meaningful role in student safety and wellbeing
This is a role suited to someone who takes safety seriously and enjoys the rhythm of an academic calendar rather than shift-based hospitality work. Yasmina British Academy places high value on trust, consistency, and professionalism, particularly given the age range of students using the pool facilities.
