About the Role

As a Barista at Cafe Saula, you will be the face of the brand, delivering an exceptional coffee experience to every customer who walks through the door. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of espresso-based beverages, filter coffee, and specialty drinks according to Cafe Saula standards
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment
• Greet customers warmly and provide recommendations based on their preferences
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the coffee station and service area
• Manage cash handling and point-of-sale transactions accurately
• Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and disposables, and coordinate restocking
• Support the wider team during peak hours to ensure smooth and timely service
• Uphold food safety and workplace safety regulations at all times

Requirements

• Previous barista experience preferred, ideally within a café, hotel, or specialty coffee setting
• Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and latte art is a plus
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage
• A friendly, customer-first attitude with the ability to stay calm under pressure
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Valid UAE residence visa or eligibility to work in the UAE
