La Maison Ani is preparing to open its doors at Mall of the Emirates, and we are building our founding team of baristas ahead of launch. This is a rare pre-opening opportunity for coffee professionals who want to help shape the culture, standards, and service style of a brand-new specialty coffeehouse from the very first cup poured.
La Maison Ani blends French-inspired patisserie sensibilities with a serious approach to specialty coffee. The Mall of the Emirates location will be a flagship site, and we are looking for baristas who take genuine pride in their craft, who understand that consistency and warmth matter just as much as latte art, and who want to grow with a brand as it establishes itself in one of Dubai’s busiest retail destinations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing espresso-based beverages, filter coffee, and specialty drinks to a consistent recipe and presentation standard
- Operating and maintaining espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment, including basic daily cleaning and calibration checks
- Greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and creating a welcoming first impression at every interaction
- Managing the bar during peak periods while maintaining speed, quality, and cleanliness
- Supporting pastry and light food service alongside the beverage program
- Handling cash and POS transactions accurately
- Contributing to opening procedures, stock counts, and setting up service standards as a founding team member
- Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards in line with Dubai Municipality requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Previous barista experience in a specialty coffee shop, café, or premium F&B outlet, ideally in the UAE or GCC
- Solid understanding of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and basic latte art
- A genuine passion for coffee and a willingness to keep learning new techniques and menu items
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced mall environment with high footfall, especially during weekends and peak hours
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage
- A tidy, guest-focused, team-first attitude
- Availability to join pre-opening training and be part of launch week
- Valid UAE work eligibility or ability to be sponsored
