About the Role

As a Barista at Cafe 302, you’ll be responsible for preparing high-quality hot and cold beverages, maintaining the coffee station, and providing warm, attentive service to hotel guests and outside visitors alike. This role requires both technical coffee skill and genuine hospitality instincts, since you’ll often be a guest’s first interaction of the day.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso-based drinks, filter coffee, and specialty beverages to consistent quality standards
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and related equipment
• Take orders accurately and process payments through the POS system
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and surrounding area
• Monitor stock levels of coffee, milk, syrups, and disposables, and report shortages
• Follow hotel and Dubai Municipality food safety and hygiene standards
• Greet guests warmly and provide recommendations on the beverage menu
• Support light food and pastry service alongside beverages
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including equipment cleaning and shutdown
• Coordinate with hotel F&B team during high-occupancy periods and events

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of barista experience, hotel or café setting preferred
• Good understanding of espresso extraction and milk texturing; latte art is a plus
• Friendly, well-presented, and guest-focused attitude
• Ability to stay efficient and composed during busy periods
• Basic food hygiene knowledge
• Flexibility to work hotel shift patterns, including weekends and holidays
• Valid UAE visa status or ability to secure sponsorship (please specify in application)
