Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks and specialty beverages to a consistent standard
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment correctly and safely
- Deliver quality milk texturing and presentation for every drink
- Greet and engage customers with friendly, efficient service
- Keep the coffee bar, equipment, and workstation clean and organized
- Monitor and replenish stock of coffee, milk, syrups, and cups
- Process orders and payments accurately through the POS system
- Follow all UAE food safety and hygiene guidelines
- Support teammates during busy periods to keep service moving smoothly
Requirements
- Previous barista experience preferred, ideally in a specialty coffee setting
- Good understanding of espresso extraction and milk steaming technique
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service skills
- Ability to stay composed and efficient during high-traffic periods
- Good spoken English; additional languages are a plus
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
- A genuine interest in coffee and eagerness to keep learning
