Key Responsibilities
- Assist waiters with table setup, mise-en-place and side stations before service.
- Serve water, bread, cutlery and dishes as directed by the service team.
- Clear finished plates quietly and reset tables quickly for new guests.
- Carry food and beverage items safely using proper techniques.
- Learn the menu, ingredients and common allergens to support guest questions.
- Keep glassware, cutlery and linen polished and presentable.
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen, bar and captain during service.
- Follow hotel grooming, hygiene and safety standards every shift.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Some restaurant or hotel service experience is preferred, although motivated beginners may be considered.
- Good basic English; other languages are helpful in Dubai’s international market.
- Good teamwork and a willingness to learn quickly.
- Physical fitness to stand, walk and carry items for long shifts.
- Clean, professional appearance and a friendly manner.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays and split shifts if required.
- Valid right to work in the UAE or employer-supported visa eligibility.
