What You’ll Be Doing
- Greet and assist customers on the shop floor, helping them find products and make purchase decisions
- Maintain shelf presentation, pricing accuracy, and planogram compliance across assigned sections
- Replenish stock from the stockroom and ensure aisles stay tidy, safe, and fully merchandised
- Process transactions at the till accurately, including returns, exchanges, and promotional discounts
- Promote ongoing offers, loyalty programs, and seasonal campaigns to customers
- Assist with stock counts, deliveries, and unpacking new inventory as required
- Handle customer queries and minor complaints politely, escalating more complex issues to a supervisor
- Keep up to date on new toy arrivals, bestsellers, and age-appropriate product recommendations
- Support visual merchandising setups for seasonal periods such as back-to-school, Eid, and year-end holidays
- Work collaboratively with the wider store team to hit daily sales and service targets
What You’ll Need
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not always required for entry-level candidates
- Friendly, approachable manner — comfortable engaging with families, children, and a wide range of customers
- Basic numeracy and confidence handling POS systems and cash transactions
- Ability to stand, move, and lift stock for extended periods during shifts
- Good spoken English; additional languages (Arabic, Hindi, Tagalog, etc.) are a strong plus given Dalma Mall’s diverse shopper base
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working a retail roster that includes weekends, evenings, and public holidays
- A team-oriented attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever the store needs support
