About the Roles
Coffee Planet is currently hiring for two separate positions: a Warehouse Assistant to support inventory, stock handling, and distribution operations, and a Barista to deliver quality coffee and excellent guest service at one of its retail locations. Both roles are essential to keeping the brand’s operations running smoothly, from ensuring products move efficiently through the supply chain to crafting the perfect cup for every customer.
Warehouse Assistant – Key Responsibilities
- Receive, check, and store incoming coffee products and related stock accurately
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch to retail outlets or wholesale clients
- Maintain organized storage of products to ensure efficient retrieval and stock rotation
- Assist with regular inventory counts and help resolve stock discrepancies
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks or hand trucks, safely
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times
- Follow proper handling procedures for coffee products to preserve quality and freshness
- Report damaged goods, shortages, or stock issues to the warehouse supervisor promptly
- Support the wider logistics team in meeting daily dispatch and delivery targets
Barista – Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee and beverage items to Coffee Planet’s quality standards
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and related equipment
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and recommend products based on preferences
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked barista station in line with hygiene standards
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately through the point-of-sale system
- Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, and related supplies
- Build rapport with regular customers to enhance the overall guest experience
- Follow all food and beverage safety and hygiene protocols
Requirements (Both Positions)
- Previous relevant experience preferred: warehouse/logistics experience for the Warehouse Assistant role, and barista or cafe experience for the Barista role
- Physical stamina to handle manual tasks, standing, and lifting as required by the role
- Attention to detail, particularly for stock accuracy or drink consistency
- Good communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented mindset with willingness to support colleagues as needed
- UAE experience is an advantage but not mandatory for the right candidate
- For Barista: friendly, guest-facing personality; for Warehouse Assistant: forklift certification is a plus
