As a Bartender, you won’t just be pouring drinks — you’ll be setting the tone for the guest’s entire evening, whether that’s a quiet weekday cocktail or a packed weekend crowd.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare and serve a wide range of classic and signature cocktails, mocktails, wines, and spirits to guests with speed and consistency.
• Maintain full knowledge of the drinks menu, including seasonal specials and promotions, and confidently recommend pairings to guests.
• Keep the bar area clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout each shift in line with hygiene and safety standards.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system, and reconcile the till at the end of service.
• Work closely with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth, well-timed guest service.
• Check IDs and monitor responsible alcohol service in line with UAE licensing regulations.
• Contribute creative input on new cocktail ideas and seasonal menu updates when invited.

What Mama Shelter Is Looking For

• Previous bartending experience in a hotel, restaurant, or high-volume bar setting, ideally in the UAE or a similar international market.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, and current bar trends.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• A friendly, high-energy personality that fits Mama Shelter’s fun and design-forward brand identity.
• Ability to stay calm and organized during high-pressure, high-volume service periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by the hospitality schedule.
• A valid UAE visa or eligibility to work in the UAE is preferred but not mandatory for strong candidates.
