Gerbou Restaurant is growing its team in Dubai and has four openings across front and back of house: Barista, Waiter, Sous Chef, and Steward. Whether your strength is behind the coffee machine, on the floor with guests, in the kitchen leading a section, or keeping operations spotless behind the scenes, Gerbou offers a stable, hands-on environment to build your hospitality career.
This is a good fit for candidates who want to be part of a close-knit team where every role matters to the guest experience, from the first coffee served to the final plate cleared.
Open Positions
Barista — Prepare espresso-based drinks to a consistent standard, maintain the coffee station, and deliver friendly, efficient service to guests throughout the day.
Waiter — Provide attentive table service, guide guests through the menu, take orders accurately, and coordinate with the kitchen to ensure smooth, timely service.
Sous Chef — Support the Head Chef in running the kitchen, supervise line cooks, maintain food quality and consistency, and help manage stock and food safety standards.
Steward — Keep kitchen equipment, crockery, and utensils clean and properly stored, supporting hygiene standards and smooth back-of-house operations during service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the relevant role within a restaurant or café setting
- Sous Chef applicants should have prior kitchen leadership experience
- Strong teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail
- Good communication skills; English required
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and UAE public holidays
- Knowledge of UAE food safety and hygiene standards preferred
