Position: Bartender
Property: Hilton Hotel
Location: Dubai, UAE
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience Level: 1–2+ years bartending experience, hotel or high-volume bar preferred
Hilton’s Dubai property is hiring a Bartender to join its beverage team, working across the hotel’s bar and lounge outlets. This is a role for someone who already knows classic cocktail construction cold, can free-pour with confidence, and understands that great bar service is equal parts technique and personality.
Hotel bar work moves differently than a standalone nightclub or pub — there’s more structure, brand standards to follow, and a broader mix of guests, from business travellers ordering a quiet whisky to a hen-party ordering a round of espresso martinis. If you can flex between both without missing a beat, this role is a strong fit.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing classic and signature cocktails to Hilton brand and outlet-specific recipe standards
- Managing bar mise en place — garnishes, syrups, batching, and stock rotation — before and during service
- Engaging guests directly at the bar, offering recommendations and building rapport with regulars and hotel guests alike
- Maintaining accurate stock counts, liquor control logs, and wastage records per hotel policy
- Ensuring full compliance with responsible alcohol service and UAE licensing regulations
- Working with servers and outlet managers to keep drink timing aligned with food service and events
- Supporting private events, hotel promotions, and seasonal menu launches as needed
- Keeping the bar area clean, organised, and compliant with hygiene and safety standards at all times
What Hilton Is Looking For
- Proven bartending experience, ideally within a hotel, high-volume bar, or lounge environment
- Strong working knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, and basic beer service
- Comfortable working under pressure during peak hours without compromising drink quality
- Good spoken English; additional languages are an advantage in Dubai’s multicultural guest environment
- A polished, guest-focused presence — hotel bars expect a slightly more refined standard than casual venues
- UAE alcohol-handling awareness and a responsible approach to service
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including late nights, weekends, and public holidays
Why This Role Is Worth Considering
A Hilton bartending role gives you brand-name credibility that carries weight across the entire GCC hospitality market. Structured training programs, defined recipe standards, and exposure to high-end guests all build a bar résumé that opens doors — whether your next move is a senior bartender role, a head bartender position, or a shift toward beverage management.
Hotel bars also tend to offer steadier scheduling and more consistent guest volume than independent bars, which makes it easier to build real technical consistency over time. And because Hilton operates properties across the region and globally, strong performers often get considered for internal transfers or promotions before roles are advertised externally.
