About the Role
As a Retail Sales Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for customers on the shop floor — guiding them through product selections, closing sales, and ensuring every visit reflects Al-Futtaim’s standard of service excellence. You’ll work as part of a close-knit store team, reporting to the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, and play a direct role in achieving store sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers, identifying their needs and recommending suitable products
- Achieve individual and store-level sales targets and KPIs
- Maintain in-depth product knowledge across the store’s range
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system, including cash and card handling
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, shelf stocking, and store cleanliness
- Handle customer inquiries, exchanges, and complaints professionally and promptly
- Support stock counts, replenishment, and loss-prevention procedures
- Stay updated on ongoing promotions, new arrivals, and seasonal campaigns
- Build long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat visits and loyalty
- Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth daily store operations
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in retail sales, mall-based retail experience preferred
- Strong communication skills in English; Arabic or other languages are a plus
- Target-driven mindset with a genuine passion for customer service
- Well-presented, confident, and comfortable engaging a diverse, international customer base
- Basic POS and computer literacy
- Flexibility to work mall hours, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced retail environment
- UAE retail experience is an advantage but not mandatory
