Roast Café, one of Dubai’s beloved specialty coffee destinations, is looking for a passionate and skilled Barista to join our growing team. Roast Café has built a loyal following across Dubai for its commitment to quality beans, precise brewing, and a welcoming café atmosphere. We’re expanding our front-of-house team and looking for someone who genuinely loves the craft of coffee-making and enjoys connecting with customers throughout their day.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a full range of hot and cold coffee beverages to specialty café standards
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment with consistent precision
- Craft latte art and ensure every drink meets Roast Café’s visual and taste standards
- Greet and engage customers warmly, offering recommendations based on their preferences
- Handle the point-of-sale system accurately, processing orders and payments efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation in line with UAE food safety standards
- Manage stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and disposables, flagging reorder needs
- Support opening and closing procedures, including equipment cleaning and cash reconciliation
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and floor staff during peak hours to maintain smooth service flow
- Uphold Roast Café’s brand standards in presentation, hygiene, and customer interaction at all times
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of barista experience, preferably in a specialty coffee or café environment
- Strong knowledge of espresso-based drinks, brewing methods, and milk texturing
- Basic latte art skills; advanced latte art is a strong advantage
- Friendly, energetic, and customer-focused personality
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Good communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus
- Flexible with working hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Valid UAE residency status or ability to obtain work sponsorship
- Food hygiene certification is an advantage, not mandatory
