What You’ll Do
- Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, filter coffee, and specialty beverages to the café’s quality standards.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment, keeping calibration and cleanliness on point throughout the shift.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and handle the point-of-sale system for payments.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar area, including restocking milk, syrups, cups, and consumables.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards for all beverage and light food preparation.
- Support senior baristas with milk texturing, latte art practice, and daily opening/closing routines.
- Handle customer questions or concerns politely, escalating to a supervisor when needed.
- Help track stock levels and flag low inventory on coffee beans, dairy, and packaging.

What You’ll Need
- Some barista experience preferred, but candidates with a genuine passion for coffee and a willingness to learn fast are welcome to apply.
- Basic understanding of espresso extraction, milk steaming, and standard café equipment.
- A friendly, customer-first attitude — this is a front-of-house role and personality matters.
- Ability to stay composed and efficient during busy rush periods.
- Good spoken English for taking orders and interacting with a diverse customer base.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, as café hours require.
- A valid UAE work permit or the eligibility to obtain one.
