The Espresso Lab, a leading name in Dubai’s specialty coffee scene, is looking for a passionate and skilled Barista to join its growing team. Known for sourcing exceptional beans and crafting precise, consistent coffee experiences, The Espresso Lab has become a destination for coffee lovers across the city. This is an opportunity to work within a brand that treats coffee as a craft rather than a commodity — where extraction ratios, milk texture, and bean origin all matter. You will be trained and expected to uphold a standard of quality that keeps regulars coming back and turns first-time visitors into loyal fans.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve espresso-based beverages to specialty coffee standards
Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment
Ensure consistent milk texturing and latte art presentation
Educate customers on bean origins, roast profiles, and brew methods
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee bar and equipment
Manage stock levels of coffee, milk, and consumables
Deliver warm, efficient, and personable customer service
Handle cash and POS transactions accurately
Follow all food safety and health regulations

Requirements

Previous barista experience, ideally in a specialty coffee environment
Solid understanding of espresso extraction and milk steaming techniques
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional manner
Ability to work efficiently during high-volume, fast-paced periods
Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and UAE public holidays
Genuine enthusiasm for coffee culture and continuous learning
