The hotel’s F&B outlets are designed to reflect the energy of Jumeirah itself, and coffee culture plays a central role in the guest journey from early morning check-outs to relaxed afternoon meetings. The property is currently seeking a passionate Barista to join its growing food and beverage team.

About the Role

As Barista at Hyatt Centric Jumeirah Dubai, you’ll be responsible for delivering consistently excellent coffee and beverage service across the hotel’s outlets. This role calls for someone who takes pride in the craft — from dialing in espresso extraction to finishing a flawless microfoam pour — while also being a genuinely warm and attentive presence for guests. You’ll work closely with the wider F&B team to ensure every beverage served reflects Hyatt’s global service standards and the neighbourhood-inspired spirit of the Centric brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso-based and specialty beverages to Hyatt brand and quality standards
• Maintain, clean, and calibrate coffee equipment daily
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient guest service at the coffee counter
• Manage stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and related supplies
• Process guest transactions accurately through the POS system
• Support colleagues during peak service periods across F&B outlets
• Uphold food safety, hygiene, and hotel health & safety standards at all times
• Contribute ideas for seasonal beverage specials and menu improvements
• Build rapport with regular guests to encourage repeat visits
• Assist with opening and closing duties for the outlet

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years’ barista experience, preferably in a hotel or premium café setting
• Solid understanding of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and latte art
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage
• Guest-focused mindset with a genuine passion for hospitality
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Team-oriented, reliable, and detail-driven
