Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests warmly upon arrival at the restaurant, lounge, or dining outlet.
- Manage seating arrangements, reservations, and waitlists efficiently during busy periods.
- Provide guests with accurate information about the outlet, menu offerings, and any current promotions.
- Coordinate closely with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth guest flow and service timing.
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns with professionalism, escalating when necessary.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the host stand, entrance area, and dining floor.
- Uphold Hilton’s brand standards for guest experience, grooming, and professional conduct at all times.
- Support the food and beverage team with administrative tasks such as reservation logs and guest feedback tracking.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar host, hostess, or guest service role within a hotel or restaurant environment preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a strong advantage.
- Polished, professional appearance and confident, welcoming demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Genuine passion for hospitality and creating positive first impressions for guests.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to remain calm, composed, and solution-focused during high-pressure situations.
