About the role

We’re looking for passionate team players to bring joy to our customers every day.[reference:3][reference:4]
As a Team Member, you’ll be the smiling face of our shop floor, serving customers and
preparing delicious, freshly made food in our kitchen.[reference:5][reference:6] The role is
varied and fast-paced, centred on delivering excellent customer service and maintaining
high product standards.[reference:7][reference:8]

A Pret Team Member works as part of a team in the kitchen, front of house, and delivery.
You’ll be responsible for creating an efficient & welcoming environment, engaging and
“wowing” our customers, and producing great quality Pret food.[reference:10][reference:11]
Key focuses for the role are teamwork, the 6 key points of service, the 6 key points of
production, cleanliness, and productivity.[reference:12][reference:13]

Key responsibilities

• Teamwork: Maintain good relationships with all of the shop’s team. Take on jobs to balance workload and work in any area (FOH and Kitchen) as requested.[reference:14][reference:15]
• Amazing Service: Always follow the 6 Key Points of Service. Serve customers efficiently, politely, and quickly in an engaging manner. Take the time to respond to customers’ needs, delivering outstanding service.[reference:16][reference:17]
• Delicious Food & Drink: Create delicious food according to Pret standards in a safe environment. Follow the 6 Key Points of Production and ensure stock is rotated correctly.[reference:18][reference:19]
• Cleanliness & Safety: Complete the Introduction to Pret course and pass the Pret Food Hygiene test. Adhere to all health & safety and food safety standards.[reference:20][reference:21]
• Productivity: Complete and pass all training in a timely manner. Adhere to financial standards on tills and maintain high bench productivity.[reference:22][reference:23]
• Standards: Maintain beautiful front-of-house displays, merchandising, and seating areas. Wear a clean and immaculate uniform at all times.[reference:24][reference:25]
